If you happen to stumble upon the rate less than the above, please do let us know and we will negotiate with the resort to get the best deals.

They do not have many rooms - only 74 rooms! Therefore it is important to book early to avoid disappointment. Please let us know as soon as you have made the decision to stay here (preferably by 1st September), so we can secure the accommodation with the resort. Please provide the following details:
- Check in / check out day and time (normal check in time is 3.00pm while check out time is 12.00pm but we can try to request for earlier check in time – subject to availability)
- Room Type (otherwise will assume it's the Deluxe Chalet)
- Names of guests staying overnight

We recommend staying only 1 night here – which is on the 8th of January 2012, and checking out on the 9th of January if you want to explore Malaysia. This is because there’s really nothing much to do in the surrounding area (except checking out Putrajaya for a few hours) and limited public transportation as soon as you step outside the resort. Unless of course if all you want to do is to relax in the resort, by all means go ahead – we will not stop you! :)

Additional details about staying at Cyberview Lodge below. Hopefully this summary will be helpful to you, otherwise feel free to visit Cyberview’s website or google Cyberview Lodge for further information.

1.       Breakfast is normally included in the room rates.

2.       There is a famous Malaysian kopitiam just around the corner (open 24 hours), probably a 5 minutes drive and 20 minutes walk from the Resort.

3.       There are complimentary transfers provided by the Resort:
-          Express Rail Link (ERL), Putrajaya Station. [Airport Rail]
-          Alamanda Shopping Mall, Putrajaya (except Fridays). [We think it’s not a very exciting shopping mall. There are many bigger malls outside of Cyberjaya / Putrajaya]
-          To (2000hrs) and from (2200hrs) the Putrajaya Pasar Malam ( Night Market ) on Fridays only. [Can’t comment much as have not been there]
-          To (1100hrs) and from (1900hrs) the Kuala Lumpur City Centre ( KLCC ).[same location as Petronas Twin Towers], and easy public transportation from KLCC to other parts of KL.

4.       Airport Transfer Limousine Service
-          RM140 nett per way [We estimate the taxi service will cost about RM50 – RM80 from KLIA/LCCT to Cyberview lodge]

5.       Sometimes they have famous international guests staying here!
-          The F1 McLaren team stayed at Cyberview this year
-          Maroon 5 was there few months ago
-          Australia’s ex prime minister John Howard (and other leaders) were there for the APEC summit many years ago

6.       There are a few restaurants in the resort (besides the expected room service meals):
-          Bistro Cascata – Italian cuisine [frankly speaking, we don’t expect much of Italian food in Malaysia in general, but we have not tried this place so should not disregard it immediately]
-          Karma Lounge – bar/drinks lounge [We liked this place when we first saw it and wanted to use it for something related to our wedding, but too bad they did not allow us to book  this place]
-          Xing Chu Restaurant – Chinese cuisine
-          Verandah Restaurant – Pan-Asian meal (buffet or ala-carte) [Yes, this is where the wedding dinner will be held!]

7.       Facilities
-          Spa [apparently this is quite good, and guests normally come to Cyberview for the resort atmosphere and this spa!]
-          Fishing in Cyberview lake [But we do not encourage it because we are not big fans of hooking the fish’s mouth L]
-          Swimming in “lake-like” pool and lap pool [but we are not sure if there is a separate lap pool, or they are just referring to the same “lake-pool” still]
-          Mountain biking [We can’t really picture a mountain though, maybe just some mini hills in some parkland]
-          Tennis
-          Mini Basketball
-          Gym Fitness Centre

Of course, most importantly - the reason to stay over on the 8th is for the company! We will be staying the night here. :)
